ICT Production team goes roaming!

19th Aug 2010 at 13:59

In an exciting initiative to further streamline the order processing and stock control system at ICT, the Production team is now using the new Apple iPad.

iPad
With iPad in hand, warehouse team members can roam the warehouse and have the power of the internal inventory system at their fingertips, negating the need for endless trips back to the desk and a scattering of Post It notes.

The iPad also has access to over 250,000 applications, opening up a multitude of other uses in the future.

"The addition of iPad has enabled ICT to deploy our inventory management system to every location. Pi...

UPDATED: Value compare function with more control!

13th Jul 2010 at 09:31

Programming guide showing how to program variables and activate PGMs when the output from an ATH1 goes above or below a set value. This guide will show you how to set up the variables, programmable functions and also how to display all this data on a floor plan. There are also notes on how to include a second ATH1 if required. Note the use of registers 50 and above, if you are planning on connecting more than 12 ATH1's, you will need to plan your registers so your start point will not overlap with the 13th ATH1 register requirements 048, 049, 050 and 051.

Events missing after connecting to a controller

    3rd Jun 2010 at 09:42

In certain situations, it may seem that a number of events are missing in memory, or rather not seen.

As an example, If I do a search of the last two weeks (from May 5th to present) I find the events until May 10th and then I find from May 18th to now.
The last event that I find of May 10th has the number 457085 and the first of May 18th has the number 459265.
It seems that the system has recorded 2000 events, but it does not display them.

This can be caused by an installer having multiple sites with controllers on the same IP address.

    EG.

Site #1 contains a Controller on IP 192.168.1.2
    Site #2 contains a Contro...

    1st Jun 2010 at 11:00

Holden HQIt has almost been the same story round after round in the HQ Holdens, as Rod Raatjes continued his perfect race form in Sandown's second round of the Victorian State Circuit Racing Championships in his Security Merchants - Protégé Holden HQ.

Raatjes' weekend started with pole position in qualifying, and three consecutive race wins that looked as though he was doing it a little too easy. But as race 4 got underway, Raatjes came under attack from HQ veteran Carl McHenry, who challenged the 'Flying Dutchman' along the back straight multiple times in the dying stages of the race.

    But just as Raat...
